Madeira Beach Man Charged with Battery, Burglary
Todd Kester was charged with burglary and domestic battery. He is currently awaiting trial on $11,500 in bonds.

A Madeira Beach man has been arrested after he allegedly hit his girlfriend and kicked down her door.Â
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Todd Kester, of 145th Avenue in Madeira Beach, was asked to leave the residence but then "kicked in the closed front door to gain entry and commit the battery."
According to the arrest affidavit, Kester allegedly backhanded the victim in her mouth, causing a blood blister to left upper lip.Â

The affidavit say there are no independent witnesses to this charge and the victim will assist with prosecution.Â
