Man Shoots Woman, Kills Himself After 7-Hour Standoff In Seminole
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted murder that ended with the shooter's suicide after a seven-hour standoff.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted murder that ended with the shooter's suicide after a seven-hour standoff.
On Sunday at around 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to 7850 134th St. N. after receiving a call about a woman who'd been shot. Deputies found the woman at a neighboring home with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to the hospital where she is expected to survive.
Deputies attempted numerous times to communicate with the shooter believed to be inside the home, but he did not surrender.

Finally, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office SWAT and Negotiator Response teams were called to assist. After nearly seven hours, the shooter was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the home.
