Don't Pass on Good Eats at John's Pass

For good food and great service, look no further than the variety of welcoming places on John's Pass.

One of the most authentic pizza joints in the area is nestled in the heart of John's Pass. DeLosa's is a staple in the village and boasts a menu of Italian favorites. Hot or cold subs are available as well as appetizers, salads, pasta and even burgers. The signature item at DeLosa's is the fresh pizza. Try a slice for $2.25 or a 14" Medium pie for $11.95. A Large 16" pizza is priced at $13.95. Toppings can be added at .35 each, per slice or $1.75 each, per pie.

 

  • Naked Tchopstix (111 Boardwalk Place W- 2nd Floor)

Sushi is a must have on the beach. John's Pass covers all the bases as far as cuisine goes, including Naked Tchopstix. The venue offers a full menu of pan-Asian dishes, not to mention the sushi and Korean barbecue. In the later hours, Naked Tchopstix turns into a full on night club with live music and a full liquor bar. Specialty  sushi favorites include the Mafia Roll (salmon, hamachi, green onion, tuna and three kinds of sauce) for $13.99 and the Toast and Jam Roll (choose either spicy tuna or krab meat, served atop crispy rice with sweet wasabi, jalepeno and hot sauce) priced at $12.99.

At Sculley's on John's Pass, it is all about the seafood. A multitude of plates are offered, all with one thing in common: fresh fish. The infamous "School of Fish" platter ($25.99) is served with three kinds of fish, each cooked with a different sauce. The dish is served with sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes. Other options range from salads and fried baskets to shellfish and sandwiches.

  • The Boardwalk Grill (204 John's Pass Boardwalk E)

Opening at 10 a.m. seven days a week, weather permitting, The Boardwalk Grille means business. Boardwalk Fries jumpstart the menu with a double fried taste and Chesapeake Bay style topping, starting at $2.75. Local favorites include the Fried Pickles ($4.99) and the Fish Tacos ($3.50 each or 2/$6). Dessert options are Funnel Cakes ($4) and Fried Oreos (2/$2). Customers can also enjoy free internet at the Boardwalk Grill.

 

A veteran to John's Pass, the Friendly Fisherman has proved its longevity by staying busy and keeping customers satisfied. From surf and turf options to salads, the menu showcases a wide variety of dishes. Red Grouper is set at market price and the Hand-Cut Salmon is $17.95. Each plate is served with the choice of one side: baked or sweet potato, coleslaw, fries or applesauce. Looking for something different? Try the Alligator Bites for $7.95 or a 1/2 lb. of Frog Legs for $15.95.
