Matter of Taste: St. Patrick's Day Shenanigans
Check out some of the best places to eat and drink along the beaches during St. Patty's Day this weekend.

With one of the best views on the beach, Woody's Waterfront promises a laid back, good time for St. Patrick's Day. Live music will be pumping, starting at 11 a.m. Green beer specials will be in full effect and corned beef sandwiches will also be for sale.

If you're looking for a party that is on and popping, stop by the Sloppy Pelican. Food specials include Shepherd's Pie and Guinness Fries with Gravy. Some of the drink specials are $4 Green Flaming Fireballs, $12 Green Beer Towers and $5 Irish Pancakes. Live music will be blasting from 2 p.m.- 2 a.m.

For music, prizes and killer drink specials, look no further than the Daiquiri Deck. Corned Beef and Cabbage will be served along with many other Irish delights. Drink specials include $2 Green Beer Drafts and $3 Guinness, all day long. Try your hand at the Annual Shamrock Hunt to win cash and prizes.

One of the north beach's most famous spots to get down at on March 17th is Mickey Quinn's. Irish pub fare will be plentiful and live music runs from Saturday's late morning hours to the early hours of Sunday morning. Join in on some authentically Irish fun at Mickey Quinn's.

Sponsored by the , the town of Indian Shores will be hosting a party to remember for St. Pat's Day this year. The Street Fest will feature vendors specializing in Irish food, arts/crafts and beverages. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue District's 9/11 Memorial Fund. The party goes from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
