Florida Shell Shop: Oldie But a Goodie

It has been around for almost five decades and offers one of the largest shell selections on the beach.

The Florida Shell Shop (say that five times fast) is the oldest store on Treasure Island. With a self-proclaimed “old Florida vibe,” it is a destination for tourists and locals.

As a local small business, the Florida Shell Shop has been family owned and operated since the start. The folks at the shell shop pride themselves on the fact that they have been around since “before the condos and restaurants filled the beaches.”

Sea shells, Florida souvenirs and one-of-a-kind gifts can all be found at this beachside gem.

The Florida Shell Shop is located at 9901 Gulf Blvd. on Treasure Island. The store is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
