Red Tide Cancels Indian Rocks Beach BeachFest
The Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association has canceled the annual IRB BeachFest scheduled for April 15 because of red tide.
INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, FL — After reviewing the conditions of red tide on Pinellas County beaches and consulting with the city and Pinellas County Department of Health, the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association has decided to cancel the annual IRB BeachFest scheduled for April 15.
Red tide detected on Indian Rocks Beach is causing fishkills that require daily cleanup by city staff.
BeachFest is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association. All proceeds go back into the community.
