St. Pete Beach Getting New Library Soon?
City officials are pressing the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative to fund the renovation earlier than planned while it still has money available, The Gabber reports.

St. Pete Beach officials are hoping to move forward with a new city library sooner than they originally planned, The Gabber reports.
A library renovation had been scheduled to take place in three years, but city commissioners are pressing the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative for funding now since it's the last year the cooperative will be offering construction grants, according to The Gabber.
“We’re the only community in Pinellas County [with the exception of Gulf Beaches in Madeira Beach] since the coop has formed that hasn’t undergone a significant expansion, renovation and/or new construction,” City Manager Mike Bonfield told The Gabber.
