An old Florida florist is merging with another St. Pete Beach flower seller to create a brand-new store at 6290 Gulf Blvd.
According to the Beach Beacon, Lou’s Florist – which has been on the beaches for 56 years – has joined Seaside Florals. Both shops are owned by the same family.
The new store is Lou’s Seaside Florals, which will operate out of 1,400 square feet of space, next to the Postcard Inn. Kim and John Lovell, along with their six employees, will run the new place.
Lou’s Florist will sell its former building, at 7800 Blind Pass Rd.
