Entertain with Summer Wines at John's Pass

As the temperature heats up across Florida, you may be looking for the perfect "adult" beverage to sooth your taste buds. The Florida Winery at John's Pass has received more than 50 medals for their unique and original wines.

If you're looking for a summer wine to sip at the pool or entertain at a evening BBQ, The Florida Winery's Wine Master Matthew Powers has a few suggestions for the season.

At $19.99 per 1.5 liter bottle, The Cabia White Sangria is a perfect daytime wine Powers says. Then, for an evening event, entertain guests with the Serora Red Sangria, also $19.99.

For a fruity and unique drink, check out the winery's Wine Freeze Mix. Just add the flavored mix in a blender with ice and your favorite wine. There are five flavors: mango, margarita, pina colada, rasberry and strawberry.

Of the flavors, mango is the top seller. Powers recommends mixing the mango freeze mix with their Pure Paradise Mango white wine - a gold medal winner.

Looking for a showstopper wine? Try the Flamango. It's a mango wine made with chocolate habanero and is $14.99 a bottle.
