Would-Be Bank Robber In Pinellas Park Leaves Empty-Handed

Pinellas Park police are seeking information on a man who attempted to rob the Truist Bank.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — The Pinellas Park police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Truist Bank Friday.

According to police, a man walked into the bank at 7694 49th St. around 1 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money, implying he had a weapon. Bank staff refused to give him money and he left the bank empty-handed.

Police said the man is white, about 50 years old and he was wearing a white shirt and shorts, black shoes, a tan baseball cap with reader-style glasses.
