Massive Regional Free Dog Adoption Event Hosted By Hillsborough County

The event will continue this weekend at the Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds in Plant City.

PLANT CITY, FL — Continuing Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon, the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center will help clear regional animal rescue shelters with a Mega Dog Adoption Event at the Florida Strawberry Festival grounds.

Residents seeking a pet can choose from more than 500 pups from eight municipal and county shelters during the event.

All dogs will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Plus, all fees will be waived.

The event is at the Grimes Family Agricultural Center on the Strawberry Festival grounds, 2508 W. Oak Ave., Plant City.
