1. Pompano's Chamber of Commerce Could Move to North Dixie Highway Location (tapinto.net) — Pompano Beach’s Community Redevelopment Agency will vote tomorrow on subleasing CRA-owned space on North Dixie Highway so the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce can move its headquarters there. The proposed Sonata Apartments location, about a mile from City Hall, would start Jan. 1, 2026, with three months of rent-free improvements before regular payments begin. 
2. International Servants: Big Claims, Little Transparency (ministrywatch.com) — A Christian missions leader under scrutiny for transparency owns a nearly $1.2 million condo in Pompano Beach, raising questions for some church members about how donated funds are used. Investigators say they found little evidence supporting his group’s large claims about work in Belize, and note missing financial filings and potentially misleading fundraising images.
3. Styx and Cheap Trick to Tour Together in 2026 (967theeagle.net) — Styx is scheduled to play Pompano Beach Amphitheatre on Feb. 22, 2026, as part of a busy national tour. Local fans can also catch Cheap Trick elsewhere in Florida and see Styx return with Chicago in West Palm Beach next July, offering multiple chances for South Florida rock lovers to plan ahead.
4. Drag racers settle suit with family of seriously injured girl for $3M (nj.com subscription) — A man identified as living in Pompano Beach helped settle a $3.25 million negligence lawsuit after a 2023 drag-racing crash in East Brunswick seriously injured an 11-year-old girl. Court records show he previously pleaded guilty to assault by auto but did not serve prison time, while the other driver received probation as a juvenile.
