Erik LeVasseur, the PSLPD officer shot twice in the face during a domestic disturbance call in Tradition, has been moved from intensive care to a rehabilitation facility. Doctors report he is stable, without brain damage, and may benefit from future reconstructive and eye surgeries, while the department stresses his privacy during recovery.

See prices (miamiherald.com) — Port St. Lucie drivers are seeing gas around $2.79 a gallon as prices across Florida fall for the third straight week, just in time for holiday travel.
