Erik LeVasseur, the PSLPD officer shot twice in the face during a domestic disturbance call in Tradition, has been moved from intensive care to a rehabilitation facility. Doctors report he is stable, without brain damage, and may benefit from future reconstructive and eye surgeries, while the department stresses his privacy during recovery.

2. Florida gas prices plunge by double digits ahead of holiday travel. See prices (miamiherald.com) โ€” Port St. Lucie drivers are seeing gas around $2.79 a gallon as prices across Florida fall for the third straight week, just in time for holiday travel. Most of the state is now under $3, with North Florida cheapest overall and analysts expecting the downward trend could continue into late 2025.

3.
