City Commission To Address Latest Firmenich Proposal Tonight
The agenda calls for the continuation of the public hearing on the revised proposal by the Richman Group.
Today might be President's Day, but the City of Safety Harbor is conducting business as usual: the City Commission meeting scheduled for tonight will go on as planned.
The meeting promises to be an eventful one, with the issue of the Firmenich property set to dominate the agenda yet again.
Last week the Richman Group of Florida presented its latest revised proposal for the 36-acre parcel on State Road 590 to the city, with changes made according to instructions given by the commission at the previous meeting on February 4.

The newest proposal by the developer includes a reduction of 30 more units, from 276 to 246, and the elimination of all four-story buildings as part of the project.
Tonight's meeting will be considered a continuation of the previous meeting, to be conducted under the same quasi-judicial format.
