The Kiwanis sponsored event will start at 6:30 a.m. and is open to everyone.

The Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor will host its annual Easter Sunrise Service at the Safety Harbor Marina this Sunday starting at 6:30 a.m.

The non-denominational service will feature groups from the Covenant Church, First Presbyterian, Countryside Baptist and First Baptist Churches of Safety Harbor, according to Kiwanis official Nadine Nickeson.

"The Safety Harbor Kiwanis Club has facilitated the Easter Sunrise service at the Marina for over 15 years," Nickeson said via email.

"We do this as a service to the community with respect to our Human and Spiritual Values emphasis."

Nickeson says all three aforementioned churches participate in planning the music and sharing parts of the service, while Kiwanis members set up the chairs and arrange for the churches to coordinate with one another.
