Free Slurpee Day Is Thursday – Mango and Sugar-Free

The folks at 7-Eleven are giving away free Slurpees on Thursday, July 11, in a marketing blitz that features Slurpee nerd Nathan, the 7-Eleven Slurpee Dance Party and a "motivational chinchilla." Really.

But all folks really need to know is this: Walk into any 7-Eleven from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and receive a free Slurpee. Just click here for details. You can even RSVP your visit on Facebook, and tell folks what you like about the super-sweet, icy drink.

According to USA Today, this year's Slurpees will not be the small-sized icy drinks but large cups with 12 ounces of the frozen, treacly sweet drink.

Keep in mind Slurpees in 2013 are not your grandfather's Slurpees. There is sugar-free Slurpee Lite, and flavors that include Mango Lemonade, Oddball Orange and Strawberry Lemonade.
