Harborites, are you ready to pull out the boxes of holiday ornaments, glittery tinsel and strings of lights? Yes, it's that time of the year already!
If a "real" Christmas tree is part of your holiday decorating plan, several locations in the Safety Harbor area have plenty of fresh trees for sale; some places are also selling other holiday items like wreaths, poinsettias and even maple syrup.Β

1. Main Street Market
- Address: 233 Main St. (corner of Second Avenue North)
- Hours: Daily, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (hours will extend after Dec. 10)
- What they carry: Fraser firs from North Carolina, ranging in size from table-toppers to 9 feet tall
- Prices: $19.99-$59.99
2. Dollar Brothers Snowflake Farms

- Address: 2175 McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater (across from Cypress Meadows Church)
- Hours: Daily, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- What they carry: Fraser firs from North Carolina, ranging in size from small table toppers to large
- Prices: $25 and up
3. Steigerwaldt Tree Farms
- Address: 3000 S.R. 580 (at Countryside High School)
- Hours: Weekdays, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Weekends, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- What they carry: A wide variety of trees from Wisconsin, including Fraser firs, Balsam firs, white pines, Black Hills spruces and Canaan firs, in an assortment of sizes, from table top to 12-feet-tall. They also sell wreaths, mantle placements, white pine roping, "kissing balls," white birch logs, tree stands and maple syrup

- Other services offered: Tree delivery and set up, for a fee
