Safety Harbor Weekend Events: Civil War, Bike Ride, Octonauts
Looking for some fun things to do in and around Safety Harbor this weekend? We've got you covered.
'Octonauts: To Your Stations': Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the hit children's TV show "Octonauts" will perform two shows at Westfield Countryside mall, 27001 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2. Splash Day at Kirk Church: This free family event runs from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in nearby Dunedin and features large water slides, live music, snow cones, cotton candy, a bungee run and kids crafts. It's at Kirk Church, 2686 Bayshore Blvd.
Pet Expo of Pinellas: You and your pet can beat the heat at Humane Society of Pinellas County's indoor, air conditioned event at Minnreg Hall, 6340 126th Ave., Largo, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Sunday Morning Bike Ride: Bikers can meet at the entrance to Philippe Park at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, and enjoy a 24-mile journey through the twists, turns and short "hills" of this scenic bicycle trail.
