Transgender Student Banned From Bathrooms on School Campus
The 25-year-old Safety Harbor resident has been banished to a storage closet at Pinellas Technical Education Center if she wants to use the facilities.

Taking a bathroom break between classes at Pinellas Technical Education Center has become quite a production for one 25-year-old student from Safety Harbor.
Alex Wilson, a nursing student, has been asked to use the facilities in a storage closet rather than visit either the menβs or womenβs rooms, according to WTSP.com. The unusual request came from school officials after Wilson told fellow students sheβs undergoing gender transition at the moment.
Wilson was born a boy, but identifies with being a female. The American Civil Liberties Union is now looking into the case, WTSP.com reports.
