What to Know if You Go: 3rd Friday November

Shake off that potential case of event fatigue, Harborites — it's time for 3rd Friday!

Yes the monthly downtown street festival takes place tonight, and despite the rash of recent events in the area, this Main Street staple always seems to draw residents and visitors to the Safety Harbor downtown district.

If you plan on heading down to 3rd Friday this evening, here are some things you'll want to know before you go, according to the City of Safety Harbor website: 

• What: 3rd Friday  
• Where: Downtown Safety Harbor, on Main Street between 6th Avenue and the intersection of Bayshore Boulevard
• When: Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 from 6-11 p.m.
• Theme: This month's theme is "Thanks for Giving": bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center
• Events/Activities: In addition to the usual array of arts & crafts and food & beverage vendors, there will be a rock cover band, Come Back Alice, playing at the John Wilson Gazebo
• Benefactor: Safety Harbor Power Soccer
• Cost: Admission is Free; prices vary for food, drink and vendor goods
• Parking: Free parking is available in city lots surrounding the downtown area as well on side streets in spots where parking is allowed.
