• Midwesterners set the pace early at Golfweek Senior TOC (usatoday.com) — Sanford golfer Bobby Lundquist is just one shot off the lead in the Legends division at the Golfweek Senior Tournament of Champions in Palm Beach Gardens. He’s chasing Palm Beach’s Peter Van Ingen after opening with a 76, while Midwestern and Florida players crowd the top of several senior and super senior leaderboards.
   

• Saint Andrew's Chapel votes to leave PCA (wng.org) — A major Sanford congregation, Saint Andrew’s Chapel, has voted 669–108 to leave the Presbyterian Church in America just two years after joining the denomination. The church, founded by the late theologian R.C. Sproul and now led by suspended pastor Burk Parsons, is reacting amid ongoing disputes over his leadership and treatment of congregants.
