2017 Sarasota Community Prayer Breakfast Tickets Still Available

The event brings together people of different faiths to pray for the Suncoast.

SARASOTA, FL – For more than 40 years, people from different faiths will come together to breakfast and pray for the Suncoast and all of its people.

Tickets are still available for the 45th Annual Sarasota County Prayer Breakfast, set to take place on Thursday, April 13 at Robarts Arena at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 300 Ringling Boulevard. The program is scheduled to begin at 7:15 a.m. and set to end by 8:45 a.m. A buffet breakfast is scheduled to start before the program at 6:15.

Individual tickets are $35 for the event. A table seating of eight people is $280.

This year’s speaker will be Carolyn Mason, former Sarasota City mayor and former Sarasota County commissioner. Past speakers have included former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese, Dr. Anthony Compolo, Dr. Leighton Ford, U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, U.S. Senate chaplain Dr. Richard Halverson, Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin and Gov. David Beasley, among others.
