24-Year-Old To Spend Life In Prison For Child Molestation
Jeffrey Hagen was convicted on six counts of sexual battery on a child.
A 24-year-old Sarasota man will spend his life behind bars after a jury found him guilty Thursday on six counts of sexual battery or a child.
Jeffrey Hagen was arrested in March 2011 by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office in March 2011 for repeatedly sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl. Hagen then confessed to the crime when he was arrested, according to the sheriff's office.
According to the State Attorney’s Office, Hagen will receive a mandatory life sentence in prison without parole.
