A Venice man claimed a $2 million top prize playing the 100X THE CASH scratch-off game, FL Lottery said.
VENICE, FL — A Sarasota County man claimed a $2 million top prize playing the 100X THE CASH scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
Stephen Nagy, 64, of Venice chose to receive his winning as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1.28 million from the Florida Lottery’s Fort Myers district office.
Nagy bought his winning ticket from the Publix grocery store at 4173 S. Tamiami Trail in Venice.

The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The 100X THE CASH scratch-off game, which costs $10, offers more than $243.4 million in cash prizes, including more than 10 top prizes of $2 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
