31 FL Hospitals Among Best In U.S., New Ranking Says

FLORIDA — Thirty-one hospitals in Florida are among the best in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2024-2025 Best Hospitals ranking released Tuesday.

For its 35th annual report, U.S. News evaluated more than 5,000 hospitals based on their performance across 30 medical and surgical services. By metropolitan area, the top-ranked Florida hospitals are:

• No. 1 - Mayo Clinic - Florida
• No. 2 - Tampa General Hospital
• No. 3 - UF Health Shands Hospital
• No. 4 - AdventHealth Orlando
• No. 5 - Sarasota Memorial Hospital
• No. 6 - Cleveland Clinic Weston
• No. 6 - Orlando Health - Orlando Regional Medical Center
• No. 8 - Baptist Health Baptist Hospital
• No. 9 - University of Miami Hospital and Clinics - UHealth Tower
• No. 10 - Mount Sinai Medical Center

These hospitals are among the top 466 Best Regional Hospitals in the country, according to the U.S. News.

For the first time this year, U.S. News also identified 98 hospitals across the country for their success in caring for patients from historically underserved communities. In Florida, UF Health Jacksonville was recognized.
