5 Things: Orioles Spring Games Starts

1. O what a day for baseball! The Baltimore Orioles kick off their Spring Training game season against the Pittsburgh Pirates, busing down from Bradenton's McKechnie Field. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and will feature the National Anthem performed by Sarasota Opera's tenor Joshua Kohl. 

2. Sarasota's City Commission is today as part of its attempt to balance this year's budget. The commission is also slated to review an update of the , too. 

3. The 32nd Annual continues Tuesday  through Saturday throughout Sarasota. Check out our events calendar for details of each of these events. (Search for ".") Tuesday's  performance is J.B. 4. The , 222 S. 5. Booker High School's students will eat in style today during the grand opening of the school's new cafeteria. The cafeteria is the first of five buildings to be rebuilt on the campus. Check out some of these cool features.
