5 Things: Orioles Spring Games Starts
The Baltimore Orioles kick off their Spring Training game season against the Pittsburgh Pirates at 7:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium.

1. O what a day for baseball! The Baltimore Orioles kick off their Spring Training game season against the Pittsburgh Pirates, busing down from Bradenton's McKechnie Field. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and will feature the National Anthem performed by Sarasota Opera's tenor Joshua Kohl.
2. Sarasota's City Commission is today as part of its attempt to balance this year's budget. The commission is also slated to review an update of the , too.

4. The , 222 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota, will offer a half-hour Mid-Day Lenten Organ Recital on Wednesday with guest organist Greg Chestnut.
