5 Things to do in Sarasota This Weekend

Each week Sarasota Patch will give you a heads up on five events coming up this weekend.

1. Greek Festival

Thursday through Sunday, 12 - 10pm, at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church is the . The event will have wine tasting, Greek dancing and art tours. Don't forget to try the traditional Greek food available.

2. Circus Sarasota

Last weekend was the opening for Circus Sarasota ... and every night sold out. Make sure to get your seat under the big top this weekend before it's too late. Shows are Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2 and 7pm and Sunday at 1 and 5pm. Tickets range from $10 - $45.

3. Antiques Show and Sale

At this weekend is the Antique Show and Sale. You will see 50 select local and out-of-state dealers offering a wide range of quality antique furniture, silver, porcelain, antique & estate jewelry, bronzes, crystal, pottery, paintings, prints, Asian, and much more. Admission is $5 and the event is from 10am - 6pm. 

4. Siesta Key Valentine Stroll

From 5 - 8pm on Friday Evening stroll down the Siesta Key Village and get hugs and kisses during the annual Siesta Key Valentine Stroll. Merchants will be handing out kisses. Face painting and flowers available at the gazebo. If you are worried about parking, Siesta Trolley will bring you from the public parking at to the Village and back. 

5. Tribute to the Beatles

At the on Saturday is a Tribute to the Beatles, starring the Glass Onion Band. Tickets are $15 with a one drink minimum. There are two shows on Saturday at 5 and 7:30pm.  For more information and reservations call: 941-355-6228.
