8 Arrested In Prostitution Sting

Eight women are facing prostitution charges in Sarasota after a street level sting by the .

The Sarasota Police Department's Street Crimes Unit, in coordination with the SPD Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigations Division, conducted a street level prostitution operation in the City of Sarasota. 

These investigations are conducted in response to community concerns, the police department reported.  Individuals with information about possible narcotics or prostitution activity can report it anonymously to the Sarasota Police Department Narcotics Hotline at 941-954-7050. 

Six women were charged for felony prostitution for having three or more prostitution arrests.

The following women were arrested, on Tuesday, based on the investigative efforts of the Officers and Detectives involved: 

1.  Cathrine LaChance, 24 : Prostitution (felony)

2.  Rachelle Tocco, 23: Prostitution (misdemeanor)

3.  Darlene Debord, 29: Prostitution (felony)

4.  Lisa Willis, 29: Prostitution (felony)

5.  Dezzerray Smith, 20: Prostitution (misdemeanor), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

6.  Elizabeth Matson, 34: Prostitution (felony)

7.  Jessica Chapman, 29: Prostitution (felony)

8.  Amber O'Brien, 22: Prostitution (felony)
