The law office of Band Weintraub P.L., has expanded its civil litigation department with the recent hiring of well-known local litigation attorney C. Todd Chapman, who joined the firm in December, 2011. Chapman is a native of Bradenton.

A former Assistant State Attorney in Sarasota, Chapman has over 14 years of civil litigation experience and has tried 46 jury trials and several hundred bench trials throughout his career.   At Band Weintraub, he will work in the firm’s full-service civil litigation department headed by Garrett Pendleton who joined the firm last fall after previously working with the esteemed law firm of Alston and Bird in Atlanta.

“The addition of Mr. Chapman to our litigation department expands Band Weintraub’s litigation services to allow the firm to provide full service to our clients,” said Pendleton. “Given his extensive courtroom experience, he will be a valuable team member at trial.” Chapman will handle all types of civil litigation cases including probate litigation, commercial and business litigation, foreclosure defense, and real estate litigation.
