A seventh generation performer, TIME Magazine called Bello Nock, “America’s Best Clown.” He was awarded the coveted “Gold Clown” at the 2011 Monte Carlo International Circus Festival and the “Gold Lion” at the Lausanne International Festival in Switzerland. He is the youngest person ever to be inducted into the “Circus Ring of Fame”. He was the first person in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s 140-year history to have a production named after him. Bello first garnered a huge following at Mexico’s Circo Atayde. He then joined the prestigious Big Apple Circus in 1998. With Bello on board, the Big Apple Circus set new attendance records during their run at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Nock follows in the footsteps of aerialist Dolly Jacobs and “The King of the High Wire,” Nik Wallenda in sharing stories about their performance art.
