Garrett Sennott, 7, a first-grader at Sarasota Christian School, won a Dean B Bolt electric guitar for his Gene Simmons impersonation at Sarasota Guitar Company's Bradenton store grand opening on Dec. 3.
The costume contest was part of an all-day celebration headlined by KISS tribute band Sonic Boom.
Guests were invited to dress as their favorite KISS band member for the chance to win prizes such at the Dean guitar, T-shirts, and store gift cards. Garrett is a student at Sarasota Guitar Lessons, SGC's in-house guitar school, and also a Sarasota resident.
