Anita Baker Cancels Florida Tour
Anita Baker was scheduled to appear Nov. 18 at Sarasota's Van Wezel and tickets were to go on sale Friday.
Anita Baker has canceled her Florida tour, meaning she will not play at Sarasota's .
Van Wezel issued the announcement Wednesday afternoon. Baker was scheduled to perform Nov. 18 while tickets would go on sale Friday. Anita Baker's website also lists a Nov. 15 date at Miami's American Airlines Arena Waterfront Theatre as her only other Florida date.
No reason for the cancellation was given by Van Wezel or on Baker's website.

Anita Baker’s Florida tour has been cancelled. The show was to have gone on sale this Friday. Tickets for John Legend’s Fri. Oct. 19, 2012 @ 8 PM performance will go on sale this Friday, August 17 at 10 AM, as previously scheduled.
