Big Potato Truck Steaming To Sarasota For Fundraiser

The Good Samaritan Pharmacy is hosting the event to raise money for the United Way of South Sarasota County.

SARASOTA, FL – The Idaho Potato Commission is on a mission to prove you can’t have too much of a good thing – especially when it comes to giving.

The Big Idaho Potato Truck will offer a heaping helping of support to the Good Samaritan Pharmacy’s fundraiser for the United Way of South Sarasota County on Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Westfield Sarasota Square, 8201 S. Tamiami Trail, in the parking lot near JC Penney.

For every signature collected on the truck’s Signature Board during the event, the Big Idaho Potato Truck will donate $1 (up to $500) to The Good Samaritan Pharmacy. The truck’s team will also have games with prizes for participants, plus a chance to win a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
