Body Found On Dr. MLK Way, Shooting Investigated: Sarasota Police
Officers are investigating a fatal shooting on Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota police said. A man's body was found Sunday afternoon.
SARASOTA, FL — A fatal shooting is under investigation in Sarasota, authorities said.
While responding to a report of gunshots, officers found a man’s body near the 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way Sunday around 4:30 p.m., Sarasota police said.
Investigators are working to identify the victim and notify his next of kin.
