UPDATE: Brodsky Holds on to Win State Attorney Primary
In a race full of drama and intrigue, Ed Brodsky holds on to win the Republican primary race for State Attorney in the 12th judicial circuit.
Update: Ed Brodsky survived a tough Republican primary and advance to the November election against John Torraco.
The State Attorney race for the 12th judicial circuit was waiting on DeSoto County to decide its fate due to a reporting glitch on the DeSoto Supervisor of Elections website, but Brodsky told Bradenton.com that his team crunched the numbers and it appears statistics are in his favor:
“My supporters called me and told me it was numerically impossible for Mr. Lombardo to catch me, so I remained cautiously optimistic,” said Brodsky, who celebrated at home with his wife, Kim.
