Jazz at Two with the Pete Carney Quintet

Pete Carney returns to Jazz at Two with a tribute to a great musical! Jazz versions of songs from West Side Story have been created by numerous artists, with classic interpretations by the Oscar Peterson Trio, Cal Tjader, and Buddy Rich and in later years, Bobby Sanabria's large ensemble and Ted Nash's trio. This week, State College of Florida’s Director of Jazz Studies, Pete Carney along with Pablo Arencibia-piano, Dave Rudolph-drums and Geoff Neuman-bass, perform music from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story at Jazz at Two. Concert 2 - 4 pm. Admission at the door $15-20.
