City Offices Close For MLK Day Jan. 16
Weekly garbage, yard waste and recycling collection will not be impacted.

From the City of Sarasota: City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, January 16 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Weekly garbage, yard waste and recycling collection will not be impacted.
Bobby Jones Golf Club and Robert L. Taylor Community Complex will be open regular business hours.
The community is invited to participate in a MLK Unity Walk and Celebration noon – 5 p.m. The walk will begin at noon at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th Street, and conclude at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and Cocoanut Avenue. The festivities are expected to wrap up at 5 p.m.
