Community Invited to African American Read-In
University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will celebrate Black History Month with an African American Read-In at the Jane Bancroft Cook Library.

University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will celebrate Black History Month on Wednesday with an African American Read-In at the Jane Bancroft Cook Library.
The community is invited to attend the event, which will run 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This event, endorsed by the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association, is being held in celebration of Black History Month.

The Read-In will provide opportunities for those in attendance to hear and read works by African American authors including poems, short story and novel excerpts.
