Dunkin' Offers Dough For College To High School Seniors
The home of the famed Boston Kreme and other doughy goodness has announced the launch of the chain's 2019 scholarship program in Florida.

MIAMI, FL -- If you are a high school senior and you're crazy about doughnuts, you may want to consider applying for a Dunkin' scholarship.
The home of the famed Boston Kreme and other doughy goodness, has announced the launch of the chain's 2019 Dunkin’ Florida Scholarship Program. Dunkin' plans to award $38,000 in scholarships to high school seniors across Florida.
"In partnership with Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of education support programs, Dunkin' will award $1,000 scholarships to 38 current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school for the entire 2019-2020 academic year," Dunkin' officials announced Monday.

"Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record (have a minimum grade point average of a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent), demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal," officials added.
Applications for the 2019 Dunkin' Florida Scholarship Program will be accepted through May 1.

Applicants must live in one of the following Dunkin' regions in Florida to be eligible:
- Panama City: Franklin, Liberty, Gulf, Calhoun, Jackson, Washington, Holmes, Walton and Bay counties.
- Pensacola: Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties.
- West Palm Beach: Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River counties.
- Miami: Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
- Fort Myers: Collier, Lee, Hendry, Glades, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
- Jacksonville: St. Johns, Putnam, Clay, Bradford, Union, Columbia, Baker, Duval and Nassau counties.
- Tampa: Highlands, Hardee, Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties.
- Orlando: Brevard, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Lake, Sumter, Volusia, Marion and Flagler counties.
- Gainesville: Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy and Dixie counties.
- Tallahassee: Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee and Hamilton counties.
