Glitch Makes for Awkward Dick Vitale Segment

Lakewood Ranch's Dick Vitale is everywhere, and we're surprised on most days he knows where he's at while doing college hoops coverage for ESPN.

But a technical glitch can get to the best of us, as Yahoo! Sports found:

"Unfortunately for Vitale, a recent interview with Chicago station WGN did just that after Vitale's earpiece accidentally had him listening to a Charlotte TV station one minute and Chicago's WGN the next."

You can see and hear all the confusion in the video above found on YouTube, and it's no fault of Vitale, though through all of this we're not sure who looks more awkward: Vitale or the WGN's Pat Tomasulo doing an impression of Dicky V to his face really loud, on national TV.

But we don't care about Duke, the Tar Heels or the Fighting Illini. 

How about those USF Bulls, Dicky? Vitale told the Tampa Bay Times the team has quite the chance to do some great things in the NCAA Tournament:

"It's an amazing story," college analyst Dick Vitale said on Saturday. "They have a great opportunity. Ohio is a very, very good team, but it's certainly on USF's level. It's not Kentucky or Syracuse. I think they have a tremendous chance. And for USF, getting to the Sweet 16 in their situation is really making noise.

We all can agree that both Vitale's clip and this USF run is Unbelievable Baby!
