I-75, University Parkway Off-Ramp Closing Set
FDOT has announced an upcoming off-ramp closing at the I-75 and University Parkway interchange.

SARASOTA, FL — Motorists who get off Interstate 75 at University Parkway in their regular travels may want to take note of an upcoming closing that will result in a detour around the area.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the contractor working on the diverging diamond interchange project plans to close the I-75 southbound off-ramp at University Parkway over the weekend.
As of Friday, the closing and temporary detours were set to go into place on Sunday, Feb. 26 starting around 11 p.m. The off-ramp should reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.

Motorists who need to access University Parkway from southbound I-75 are asked to get off on eastbound Fruitville Road, re-enter I-75 northbound and then get off on University Parkway’s Exit 213.
The interchange upgrades are expected to be complete this fall.
