Man From School Rant Case Faces Child Porn Charges
A man accused of strolling onto the Riverview High campus Monday to rant about corruption now faces child pornography charges.

SARASOTA, FL — A 31-year-old Sarasota man arrested on Monday after deputies say he strolled onto the Riverview High campus to rant about corruption in school government now faces three felony counts of possession of child pornography. Aaron Talley’s latest arrest was announced late Thursday afternoon.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s office, detectives in the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit had been investigating an Internet Protocol (IP) address that was allegedly used to download 46 files that had been flagged for possibly containing child pornography. When detectives tracked that IP address down to a home in the 4400 block of Wilkinson Road, they obtained a search warrant from the court.

As it turned out, the sheriff’s office said the home in question belonged to the man accused of walking on the Riverview campus on Monday. In that case, a man went into the office and asked to speak to the principal. Without an appointment, he was denied access, the sheriff's office said. The man then walked into a classroom and accosted a teacher to talk about “corrupt school government,” an arrest report said.
The man, identified as Talley by the sheriff’s office, was escorted out of the classroom by a school resource deputy. Once in the deputy’s office, Talley was told it was a no-no to go onto a campus without permission.

Talley reportedly told the deputy he was aware of the rules, but didn’t care. “I need to speak my mind against this evil corruption in school government,” an arrest report quoted Talley as saying. He is then accused of stating: “Now I understand why people bring guns on campus and shoot kids.”
Talley was charged with trespassing on school grounds and disrupting a school function in the Monday incident.
Talley’s second arrest this week came following the warrant search of his home on May 18. During the search, deputies say they recovered three images portraying child pornography. The investigation is still open with more charges pending its outcome, the sheriff's office said.
Talley was booked into the Sarasota County Jail following his arrest on three felony counts of possession: sexual performance by a child. He was being held without bond Thursday, the sheriff’s office said.
