Lakewood Ranch Restaurant Closes

McGrath’s Kitchen & Cocktails in Lakewood Ranch closed its doors for good on Friday, the restaurant shared in a social media post.

The owners said they were closing the Irish restaurant to focus on expanding their Ed’s Tavern brand and other business ventures.

“We want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued business and loyalty over the years. It has been an absolute pleasure serving all of you,” the post read.

LongHorn Steakhouse Opens

A new LongHorn Steakhouse is open in Bradenton.

The chain’s newest Manatee County location is in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping center at 4502 14th Street W., which is anchored by Costco, the Bradenton Herald said.

The 5,780-square-foot restaurant seats 260 people and employs 75.

Restaurant Reopens in Downtown Sarasota

O’Leary’s Tiki Bar & Grill reopened early last month after closing for months because of damages caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

“Thank you for your incredible patience and support during our recovery. We can't wait to see your smiling faces again! Come enjoy the O'Leary's you know and love,” the restaurant wrote in a social media post.

The opening coincided with the removal of a large boat that washed ashore during the storms from the beach near the restaurant, Sarasota magazine said.

The tiki bar will open soon.

Raw Bar Opens in Downtown Bradenton

Shuck It Raw Bar and Steamer House opened last month in downtown Bradenton.

The space was previously home to the Old Main Pub and then the Bamboozer Bar and Grill, the Bradenton Herald said.

It seats 75 people indoors and 65 outdoors.
