Mitt Romney Fundraising In Sarasota On Sept. 20

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will make a stop in Sarasota on Sept. 20 to fund-raise, but has no plans to do a large event here.

Romney will appear at what the Republican Party of Sarasota County describes as an "intimate gathering" that will cost $2,500 per person as part of a campaign donation for the Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan ticket.

The time and place is to be announced, according to Sarasota GOP Chairman Joe Gruters.

So far, Romney has not committed to a large event similar to what and campaigns hosted in Sarasota earlier this year, according to Gruters.
