North Trail BB&T Bank Robber Sought

Sarasota Police are asking the public to help identify a North Trail robbery suspect.

The robbery occurred at the bank's Ringling area branch, 3201 N. Tamiami Trail at about 11 a.m. Wednesday where he demanded cash from the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, with salt and pepper colored hair, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, thin to medium build.
