Ocean Prime Sets Opening Date For Sarasota Restaurant
Luxury seafood restaurant and steakhouse Ocean Prime will open its Sarasota location at The Quay on Saturday.

SARASOTA, FL — Ocean Prime, a luxury seafood and steakhouse from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, will open its new Sarasota location Saturday at The Quay, according to a news release.
The waterfront restaurant’s menu offers diners seafood, prime steaks and handcrafted cocktails.
Spanning 9,513 square feet over two stories, Ocean Prime Sarasota has 355 seats, including two elegant bars and two private dining rooms.

The restaurant’s second floor has sliding glass walls that seamlessly connect indoor luxury with the outdoor terraces offering scenic marina views.
“Our Sarasota location embodies everything Ocean Prime stands for — exceptional food, elegant design, and genuine hospitality,” Cameron Mitchell, founder and CEO, said. “We are proud to bring our award-winning dining experience to The Quay and the Sarasota community.”

Mitchell has deep ties to Sarasota, where he has owned a home for more than 20 years.
The Sarasota restaurant is Ocean Prime’s fourth Florida location and its 19th nationwide.
Signature dishes include the smoking shellfish tower, sea scallops with parmesan risotto and a 10-layer carrot cake. The brand’s signature cocktails include Berries + Bubbles and Pineapple Picante.
Ethan Delk is the new restaurant’s general manager and Florida native Nicholas Pratt is the executive chef.
Delk previously worked in Ocean Prime locations in Naples, Chicago and Dallas, while Pratt began his Ocean Prime journey in Orlando in 2012, rising through the ranks to become executive chef.
“Opening in Sarasota is a dream come true,” said Delk. “Our team is passionate about delivering a dining experience where every bite tells a story, and every guest feels at home.”
Ocean Prime Sarasota is also partnering with the Community Foundation of Sarasota as part of its grand opening celebrations. All proceeds from gift card sales during preview dining will support hurricane recovery efforts, benefiting local families and businesses.
