Pease, a Lakewood Ranch native, holds a degree in finance from the University of South Florida. He previously worked for a senior moving company, helping many retirees plan for upcoming moves and transition to their new homes.

"The retirees I worked with were so excited to start their next chapters," Pease recalls. "Having the opportunity to guide them through this major life decision is very rewarding for me."

As a sales associate, Pease uses his background in finance to help Priority List members and reservists plan financially for a future move to Emerson Lakes.

Since joining the team, Pease has visited other Erickson Senior Living communities, including Avery Point in Richmond, Va., and Siena Lakes in nearby Naples, Fla., to get a feel for what Emerson Lakes' vibrant lifestyle will be like.

"I want to apply my skills to make a difference in seniors' lives," he says. "I can't wait to see our reservists move into their homes and become residents who are active in the community and take advantage of everything we have to offer."

"Nathan brings a skill set that has already proved invaluable," says Adam Zubowsky, sales director for Emerson Lakes. "He's working hard to put Priority List members and reservists' minds at ease, explaining how a move is both a wise financial decision and an investment in their well-being."

In his free time, Pease can be found at the gym, on the pickleball or basketball court, and taking walks around Lakewood Ranch.

"I can only hope to experience the same longevity as the seniors in this area. I love hearing their stories and look forward to developing even stronger relationships with them, once the community opens," he says.

Ready to serve

Paradise, also joining the team as a sales associate, earned a degree in journalism from the University of St. Thomas, a small private college in her home state of Minnesota. She's currently enrolled in an integrated marketing communications graduate program.

Before joining Erickson Senior Living, she dually served as assistant to the dean of student life at a private school and sales associate and social media and marketing manager for a fitness studio in Minnesota.

Though she grew up in Minnesota, Paradise is returning to Florida, where she trained as a tennis player at a young age. Later, she served as a coach at the IMG Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and she spent time in the Sunshine State competing in intercollegiate tennis tournaments.

Like Pease, Paradise is excited to welcome Emerson Lakes' first residents.

"I'm ready to apply my passion for communication to best serve our future residents," she says. "Collaborating with people and being organized have always been strengths of mine."

"Her talents align well with our sales team, and I'm sure this is only the beginning of her successful and rewarding career with Erickson Senior Living," says Zubowsky.

Paradise, who lives in Lakewood Ranch, passes Emerson Lakes' construction site each day on her way to the Sales and Information Center.

"Seeing the progression fuels me," she says. "I'm looking forward to seeing people every day, not just when they drop by the center with a question. I can't wait to spend time with our residents, hear their stories, and see firsthand how much they enjoy the amenities, restaurants, and clubs at Emerson Lakes."

When she's not in the office, Paradise spends her free time with her orange tabby, working out, and enjoying the beach.

Plan ahead

As construction continues on Emerson Lakes' first three buildings, Paradise and Pease encourage prospective residents to join the Priority List, which not only holds their spot in line for a preferred residence but keeps them updated on progress at the community.

"Priority List members also receive invitations to exclusive social and informational events," notes Paradise. "In addition to learning more about Emerson Lakes, you can meet and connect with potential future neighbors."

"It's the best way to stay in the loop," adds Pease. "The deposit required to join the Priority List is refundable, which means that it's a risk-free way to explore your options and plan ahead!"
