Pedego Electric Bikes Wins Top Award

Pedego Sarasota, formerly Freedom 4 Electric Bikes, recently received the Pedego Electric Bikes annual Top Dealership award in recognition as the best Pedego dealer in the state of Florida.

This award reflects more than mere sales records. It is an official acknowledgment for their outstanding customer service and community outreach.

Owners Deborah and Michael Weatherby attended a conference in Orange County, California, where the awards were presented. Rather than awarding a trophy, Pedego leaders chose to give a specially branded clock as a symbol.

“It means that it’s time for electric bikes, for commuting, for exercise and for fun,” says DiCostanzo. The Weatherby’s shop is the new home for the clock, which visitors can see when they stop by the store.

Michael and Deborah Weatherby began by following their dream to bring quality electric bicycles to communities around the nation. They originally opened a flagship store in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

After that, they opened five satellite locations along the West Coast of Florida in a partnership deal. Then, in 2011, the couple opened a showroom and demo center in Sarasota where they eventually became Pedego Electric Bikes dealers.
