Sarasota Cat Burglar Gets Away With $25,000 In Jewelry
WATCH: A masked cat burglar scaled a second-floor balcony in Sarasota and made off with more than $25,000 in jewelry.

SARASOTA, FL -- Sarasota police are asking for the public's help in finding a masked cat burglar who scaled a second-floor balcony and made off with more than $25,000 in jewelry.
Genevieve Judge of the Sarasota Police Department said the burglary occurred at a home in the 400 block of Meadow Lark Drive around 9:45 p.m. on March 9. Police released video of the cat burglar on Monday and asked for the public's help in finding him.
"The victims told officers they were out to dinner and when they returned home, they noticed someone had been inside their home," said Judge.

The cat burglar was described as 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a track suit, ski mask and gloves.
Judge said that the cat burglar walked around the property before scaling the balcony and gaining access through a bedroom.
