SARASOTA, FL — The owners of a Sarasota business that trains dogs for veterans face charges after four dogs — Shylin, Tank, Rocky and Piccolo — in their custody died, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported.

Natasha Wilhelm, 39, and Sean Hubschmitt, 40, owners of K9 Training for Heroes, were arrested Nov. 20 on animal cruelty charges.

Two of the dogs were found dead from starvation in a house that Wilhelm and Hubschmitt moved out of at the end of September. The other two were euthanized by veterinarians because of their condition.
